NEVER GROW UP

I am a sap, so freaking emotional-and really, reallyy, try to untie these "apron strings" of
mommy hood a little at a time, so I am not in a mental institution once all my kids
are grown.
A few weeks ago, at Lexi's Sr Banquet, they did a slide show with all the pictures us
moms and dads sent in through the years, to this song, Never Grow Up.
I hadn't heard it before but it was sooo beautifully done and went so well with the ideas
that sweet Taylor Swift sings about.
The innocent laughter, never having been burned....just wanting them to stay this little....
What a wonderful view on childhood that we all surely feel for them---
I am holding on to every single second I have left of all my babies surrounding me...
Soooo hard to let them go......:*

Why So Many?

To be amazed over and over, seeing a brand new person be born, looking similiar but entirely different.
Sharing in God's instant love, adding to our family, a new little face and those baby cheeks you could kiss all day long.
To never have leftovers.
To have a daily test in patience, understanding and refereeing, and many days, pass.
We're not into being bored and this cures that.
To be able to clean a house in under an hour, even ours.
A guarantee that if you mess up a bunch with the oldest, by the time the last few are teens, you may just have this thing figured out.
To enjoy the feeling of living life with no regrets-we were crazy but if we listened to everyone else, we wouldn't know our last five kids.
To watch as each become what they were sent here to be.
In the end, when we are about to close our eyes, we will be surrounded. Our passion for caos and family will be continued through their eyes, and the world will be a better place because of it.
